Annamaria Fato is a global marketing and communications leader with 30+ years of experience across the automotive, healthcare, and insurance sectors. After 14 years in Zürich, Switzerland, she returned to Pittsburgh in 2024 and founded 412 Global Connections to build bridges between Pittsburgh and the world across industry, academia, the arts, and the public and non-profit sectors. Known for strategic vision and execution, she has led mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and new business launches while building high-performing global teams. She has lived and worked in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Malaysia.  She was born in Italy, speaks five languages and holds U.S., Italian, and Swiss citizenship. She earned a B.A. in French and Italian and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and studied abroad with Vanderbilt University in France.
